Dr. Lawson and his Associates operate a mercury-free dental practice. As the lead Dentist for the Pure North S'Energy program he routinely removes old, failing, Amalgam (mercury) fillings. Every precaution is taken to dispose of and safeguard his patients and staff from the removal and safe handling of this material. Environment Canada has banned the disposal of Mercury Amalgam Fillings into the waste water and requires all Dentists to have a Hazardous waste program in place at their offices.
